Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and meet any minimum age we require (at least 13 years old, or older if required where you live). If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the security or integrity of the Service.

The Service

Ash Camp offers interactive, AI-assisted narrative experiences. Output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for some audiences. The Service is provided for entertainment and personal use unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Violate law or infringe others' rights;
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach security;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract training data, models, or source code except where applicable law forbids this restriction;
• Use the Service to generate or distribute unlawful, harassing, hateful, or harmful content, or to develop competing models or datasets in violation of our technical restrictions;
• Interfere with or overload the Service, or use automated means in a way that impairs the Service for others, except via interfaces we expressly permit.

Your content

You retain rights in content you submit. To operate the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, modify, display, and create derivative works from your submissions only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the Service (including training or tuning our systems where permitted by law and our privacy disclosures). You represent that you have the rights needed to grant this license.

Our property

The Service, branding, software, and aggregated analytics (excluding your unaggregated private content) are owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, we reserve all rights.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, SUPPLIERS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US$100), IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

Changes

We may modify the Service or these Terms. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as appropriate (for example, by posting an update or sending a notice). Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, risk to the Service, or legal requirements. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

Governing law and disputes

Unless mandatory consumer protection law where you live requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Ash Camp, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in courts with jurisdiction over that operator, unless applicable law requires a different venue for consumers.

Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on the subject. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
